Another Year has gone by and with it another Animazment and “The Anime Arsenal” was there to cover all the otaku glomping action. What set this con apart from previous animazments was the generous donation of $3,000 by Funimation Entertainment who has brought such titles as “Dragon Ball Z”, “Full Metal Alchemist” and “Ah My Goddess.” Equally amazing was the special guests that attended this years con, they included actor Richard Ian Cox “Inuyasha”, “X-men Evolution”, “Gundam 00”, Actor/Author Keiko Han “Mobile Suit Gundam”, “Sailor Moon”, Actor/Author/Screen writer Spike Spencer “Evangelion”, “Mar”, and “Bleach” and Musical guest Uchu Sentai Noiz and many more.

The cosplay this year was also astounding, spanning over several years of anime, video game and pop culture. Sparing no expense the con provided everything any otaku would need, from the video game rooms to the panel discussions which ranged from Japanese culture, meeting with guests to learn about voice acting, to talks about your favorite anime, and of course cat girls. This has been the second year for Animazment at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina and it did not disappoint, still riding high off the excitement that came with this years con The Anime Arsenal is eagerly counting down the days to Animazment 14.

So another con under the Arsenal belt! The con was great! We went in this year as press so we got the chance to get all kinds of opinions of the con from the con goer. So look forward to that as soon as the editing is done. Also lots of pictures of the awesome cosplayers out there.

All in all it was HOT!!

So first of all world allow me to say sorry! Sorry mainly for our total lack of real updates. Due to life STUFF on just about the whole group almost all of our projects have come to a painful stop, but many of us just came back from katsu-con and loved it!! It reopened some wounds, but they were the good ones. They were the ones that screamed "FIX ME". So as the head of the Arsenal I now will make a stand to bring back the fire that could have once overtaken the otaku world.

Not sure what happened but we had some issues on the server side but now were all ironed out, and back in business.

So some of us will be going to the Carolina Game Summit 2009 at wayne community college in goldsboro nc for the second time. Some of us will also be wearing some Arsenal Gear that was inspired by last years summit.

As most of you know the arsenal has been out of the loop for a while but as a new year has just hit so will we. Be ready for another crazy con year with new art, new music, and new members.

BoA will officially debut in the United States through a special program.

BoA will have her first official performance in the United States on December 3 at MTV headquarters in New York through the special program “MTV World Presents : BoA Live in New York.”

For the special program “MTV World Presents : BoA Live in New York,” BoA will be recording at MTV headquarters of MTV TRL (Total Request Live) studios on December 3 starting at 11am and will continue on for about 3 hours.

On this program, not only will we see BoA’s live performance and her music world, but also know about what she’s doing now and plans to do in the United States, and speak directly especially in a question and answer session in the studio with fans.

Especially on this special program, BoA is scheduled to unveil the first performance of “Look who’s talking” from her first album. It will be shown on the large screen in the heart of New York in Times Square, and a hot reaction is expected.

“MTV World Presents : BoA Live in New York” will be broadcasted on MTV, MTV’s music network MTV Iggy, and MTV U in December, and also on MTV Korea, Japan, ASIA, Australia, U.K, and International.

Meanwhile, BoA’s U.S. debut song “Eat You Up” was introduced for the first time to the world and netizens through “YouTube Live” on November 23.

Melody, a pop-urban singer-songwriter, is made publicly known that she will retire from the music industry and instead work on the fashion & apparel industry. Melody. (not to be confused with other Melody singers without the ".") has contributed to many well known collaborations such as M-flo loves Melody & Ryohei "Miss You" and her own solo works such as "Realize". Her music complied of mostly love-urban pop that is fused with both Japanese and English language, and being able to sing both well. Melody., just like Ito Yuna, is also born in the USA of my home-state Hawaii. She also was in her 5th anniversary in her music career during 2008.

An ambiguation was made against Ryohei and his career which was later corrected by his announced another installment to Cavaca, a cover album.

Lastly, as she makes her retirement from the music industry a BEST album honors her called "Best of Melody -Timeline-" which features all her singles and her notable works. This album made into #4 on the Oricon being her best ranking product since her debut album.
