As most of you know we all went to Otakon and had a great time!! But the highlight of the con for me was having the dream of meeting one of my favorite J-music groups. I have been a fan of these guys for a long time and seeing them live was enough to remind me why I started telling people about the world of J-music.

So While finding something interesting to watch I came across this little gem. I must say this show gave me a feeling I haven't felt sense childhood. Kid finds broken toy, and fixes it. One day its hit by some special outer space lightning and, comes to life. Said kid is the only one able to control this massive toy. Soon after aliens attack the earth and its the job of him and his new OP toy to stop the alien menace. Sounds basic but awesome none the less. So...

Some of us at the Arsenal have had a idea of sometime of passing on our knowledge of relationships and social skills to the next generation (FYI I'm married). So we have come up with a new site to do just that.

Another Year has gone by and with it another Animazment and “The Anime Arsenal” was there to cover all the otaku glomping action. What set this con apart from previous animazments was the generous donation of $3,000 by Funimation Entertainment who has brought such titles as “Dragon Ball Z”, “Full Metal Alchemist” and “Ah My Goddess.” Equally amazing was the special guests that attended this years con, they included actor Richard Ian Cox “Inuyasha”, “X-men Evolution”, “Gundam 00”, Actor/Author Keiko Han “Mobile Suit Gundam”, “Sailor Moon”, Actor/Author/Screen writer Spike Spencer “Evangelion”, “Mar”, and “Bleach” and Musical guest Uchu Sentai Noiz and many more.

The cosplay this year was also astounding, spanning over several years of anime, video game and pop culture. Sparing no expense the con provided everything any otaku would need, from the video game rooms to the panel discussions which ranged from Japanese culture, meeting with guests to learn about voice acting, to talks about your favorite anime, and of course cat girls. This has been the second year for Animazment at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina and it did not disappoint, still riding high off the excitement that came with this years con The Anime Arsenal is eagerly counting down the days to Animazment 14.

For a while now people have asked "who are The Anime Arsenal." We have now begun to answer that very question with a few short youtube videos we have put together. First up is our boy Soul!!

So another con under the Arsenal belt! The con was great! We went in this year as press so we got the chance to get all kinds of opinions of the con from the con goer. So look forward to that as soon as the editing is done. Also lots of pictures of the awesome cosplayers out there.

All in all it was HOT!!

So after talking to some of the old members of the arsenal we have come to a uniformed agreement on what our next project will be, So starting with Animazement (May 28-30, 2010 - Raleigh, NC) we will start doing con coverage! Kind of like a news broadcast, so we will be looking for people to give their opinion and views on said con.

So if your interested please let us know and we'll see if we can't get you some internet screen time.

So first of all world allow me to say sorry! Sorry mainly for our total lack of real updates. Due to life STUFF on just about the whole group almost all of our projects have come to a painful stop, but many of us just came back from katsu-con and loved it!! It reopened some wounds, but they were the good ones. They were the ones that screamed "FIX ME". So as the head of the Arsenal I now will make a stand to bring back the fire that could have once overtaken the otaku world.
